The complex relationship between rapper 50 Cent and his eldest son Marquise Jackson has taken a dramatic new turn, one that has left fans stunned and sparked debate across social media.
The tension between the father and son duo has long been a topic of public discussion. Over the years, their estrangement has played out across interviews, social media posts, and even song lyrics. But the latest chapter in their rocky history took an unexpected and brutal twist.
Marquise, now 27, recently took to Instagram with a provocative message. In the post, he sat in front of dollar bills arranged to spell the word โentitled.โ But what really drew attention was the caption beneath the photo.
โSince yโall think $6,700 is sooo much money, someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24 hours of his time,โ

He wrote.
โSo we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid. Red, yellow, green, whatever color he like.โ
The number wasnโt random. Marquise was referring to the $6,700 monthly child support his father reportedly paid to his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, during his upbringing. Marquise has publicly stated he felt that amount was not enough for the lifestyle expected of someone raised by a globally recognized rapper.
โ$6,700 a month inโฆ New York City, you do the math,โ
Marquise explained during an Instagram Live session with Choke No Joke. โYouโre talking about a Forbes lister, someone that has problems with everybody, you canโt just live in any neighborhood.โ

He added, โ$81,000 is not a substantial amount of money. You canโt just live anywhere. You have to rebuild your life over with $6,700 a month. I know what it feels like to have nothing.โ
While many thought the post was a bold attempt at reconciliation, 50 Centโs reaction was anything but warm. In fact, it was downright chilling.
Rather than respond with words, the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, posted a scene from his hit television series Power. In the clip, his character Kanan is seen killing his own son. The caption? โNo caption needed.โ
Fans were left speechless. The clip was widely viewed as a symbolic message to Marquise, suggesting that any hope for reconciliation was dead on arrival. Social media erupted, with some labeling 50โs move as โcold-blooded,โ while others defended his stance, pointing to years of tension and past incidents.
This isn’t the first time their feud has exploded in public. Back in 2018, 50 Cent sparked controversy by commenting on a photo of Marquise posing with the son of one of his known rivals, Supreme McGriff. The rapper wrote,

โIf both these little n****s got hit by a bus, I wouldnโt have a bad day.โ
Marquise later responded, โI have no phone number for you and youโve had me blocked on social media for years. So I canโt DM you personally and everybody that is mutual is scared to touch the topic because theyโre scared of you.โ
The estrangement, which began when Marquise was around 10, has been attributed to 50 Centโs rocky breakup with Tompkins and the gradual breakdown of father-son contact. In a 2017 interview, Marquise revealed, โIt completely went south when I was probably like 10 or 11. He wasnโt really around enough.โ
In a previous Instagram Live with Van Lathan, 50 Cent addressed the strained relationship, saying, โI didnโt think that success would cost me my firstborn, but itโs the situation it is. Every time you see the boy, he shows up with somebody you got a problem with. What does that tell you?โ

Despite his sonโs recent emotional appeal, 50โs post suggests he remains unmoved and perhaps even more distanced than ever.
The drama continues to draw attention from fans and critics alike, serving as a sobering reminder that fame and fortune donโt always guarantee strong family ties. And in the case of 50 Cent and Marquise, a public resolution still seems painfully out of reach.
