However, amid all the celebrations, one particular appearance sparked a frenzy across social media and news outlets.
Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, attended the event with his wife, Australian model and architect Bianca Censori.
While Ye opted for a more reserved all-black outfit, Censori’s bold fashion choice became the center of attention.
Draped in a plush black fur coat upon arrival, she later removed it to reveal a sheer, see-through dress.
Her strikingly revealing outfit immediately turned heads and set social media abuzz with discussions.
One user on X (formerly Twitter) quipped, “Kanye’s wife’s name is Bianca ‘Censori’ but does anything BUT censor herself.”
While some praised her confidence, others questioned whether the outfit was appropriate for the high-profile event.
Then, an even bigger controversy arose when reports suggested Ye and Censori had been escorted out of the Grammys.
An X post claimed, “Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori have been escorted out of the [Grammys] after showing up uninvited.”
This claim quickly went viral, leading to speculations that the couple had crashed the event.
Some outlets even suggested that Censori’s provocative outfit was the reason for their alleged removal.
With rumors swirling, the narrative became even more chaotic, leaving fans searching for the truth.
However, after further investigation, the reports appear to be entirely false and misleading.
Entertainment Weekly was quick to debunk the rumors, providing a completely different version of events.
According to the publication, the couple arrived, walked the red carpet, and then left of their own accord.
They clarified that Ye was invited, as he was nominated for Best Rap Song for Carnival alongside Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, and Playboi Carti.
The false claim of their removal even included a supposed Entertainment Tonight post, which was later proven to be fabricated.
Entertainment Weekly stated, “The post was accompanied by an image of West and Censori and a screenshot of what appeared to be a post to the Entertainment Tonight Instagram reporting the news. But no such post can be found on the ET website, nor any of its social accounts.”
Despite this clarification, some outlets continued to push the idea that they were removed due to Censori’s attire.
The Sun claimed, “Kanye West and Bianca Censori were rumored to have been kicked out of the Grammys last night after crashing the red carpet.”
These reports, however, conflicted with more reputable sources stating the couple left on their own terms.
Ye later addressed the situation himself through an Instagram post that has since been deleted.
He shared an image of Censori’s outfit with the caption, “Custom Couture Grammy dress for the most beautiful ever. My love, my best friend and my wife.”
This statement suggests that the couple not only anticipated the reaction but embraced it.
Aside from the fashion controversy, discussions have emerged regarding Censori’s demeanor at public events.
Body language experts have expressed concerns about her seemingly passive presence next to Ye.
Dannielle Miller of Women’s Community Shelters stated, “Looking at body language and the way Bianca is presenting herself, she doesn’t seem to have a lot of power or agency. I am worried for her.”
Despite all the speculation and controversy, the truth remains clear—Ye and Censori were not escorted out of the Grammys.
They were invited, Ye was a nominee, and their exit was entirely voluntary, debunking the widely spread misinformation.
While their dramatic entrance and Censori’s outfit certainly grabbed headlines, the rumors of their removal were completely false.
