Joe McMoneagle has restored public interest by sharing his views about Martian life through his work with remote viewing techniques at the CIA. He learned these revelations through his time spent at the Stargate Project during the 1970s when it operated secretly as a U.S. government intelligence venture for exploring paranormal abilities.
Cold War espionage activities prompted U.S. intelligence agencies to develop unorthodox strategies which resulted in Stargate becoming one of these programs.

The Stanford Research Institute together with the government operated this clandestine project to evaluate if people could use their psychic abilities to detect remote places or objects or see distant events.
Among those recruited was McMoneagle, a decorated U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer, whose purported psychic abilities earned him the designation “Remote Viewer No. 1.”
Through his assignments he drew depictions of unseen locations or objects by using only mental imagery as a source of intelligence extraction.
The research project survived scientific doubts and endured two decades because researchers kept believing that human beings could surpass physical senses in their perceptive abilities based on periodic positive test results.

during his work in 1984 McMoneagle received coordinates for a remote viewing session that he did not understand the important dimensions of.
Standard operating procedure required McMoneagle to concentrate on the destination location before he started giving a detailed account of what looked nothing like the planet Earth.
He recounted seeing immense pyramidal structures, some of which contained what he called โmonster rooms.โ Theavaล landscape underwent a violent storm suggesting major chaos was underway in the area.
The researcher continued his session while reporting his vision of humanoid creatures who were tall and clearly distraught.

The beings had taken refuge inside the immense structures because the atmosphere showed signs of deteriorating. The session provided evidence of a civilization heading toward destruction during the time period.
McMoneagle described the entities as humanoid forms at twice the body size of human beings although their shapes matched human proportions. He thought a global destructive event had created living conditions which grew more and more dangerous each day.
McMoneagle learned the actual identity of his target only after the clairvoyance session had already finished. The specified location in his mission did not exist within Earth’s territory.

The coordinates led to Mars as it existed one million years previous. McMoneagle found the discovery both bewitching and unsatisfying since he never liked working on assignments that lacked proof of his measurements.
Furthermore he gained more credibility when he studied satellite photographs of Mars later on. McMoneagle remarked about unidentified features in these pictures which appeared exactly like the characteristic Martian pyramids from that time in his remote viewing session.
According to McMoneagle these artificial structures must exist because natural elements would have entirely vanished from formations which existed for that time span.
McMoneagle’s sincere conviction about the reality of his experience stands despite widespread skepticism from other people. During his remote viewing sessions McMoneagle maintains that he gained perception of a Martian civilization which was wiped out when its atmosphere disappeared.
The validity of his reports as breakthrough or conjecture remains a point of controversy even though they draw continuous interest from people who investigate extraterrestrial existence.
