He’s become an internet icon for pushing the boundaries of body modification, with a look that resembles a real-life demon. Covered in tattoos from head to toe and sporting horn implants, black eyeballs, and split tongue, his transformation journey is one of the most extreme in the world.
But now, for the first time, the man known globally as ‘Human Satan’ has shocked fans not with a new surgery. but by revealing what he looked like before his jaw-dropping metamorphosis began.
Brazilian tattoo artist Diabao Praddo, formerly Michel Faro Prado, is no stranger to the spotlight. His radical body modifications have included everything from nose and ear removals to amputating fingers and embedding 33 subdermal horns into his head a feat that earned him a Guinness World Record in 2023.

“I really wanted to change myself and I was very satisfied,” he told MailOnline after amputating two fingers from his left hand to form an alien-style claw.
“All done,” he wrote casually on Instagram, accompanying a disturbing image of his now three-fingered hand.
Living on the coast of Praia Grande near São Paulo, Praddo had already removed the ring and little finger of his right hand in a similar procedure years earlier. He admits he initially feared these decisions would ruin his ability to work as a tattooist.
“In the beginning, it was quite difficult, but it didn’t take long for me to get back to tattooing almost normally,” he told.
Despite experiencing phantom pains and occasional confusion during daily tasks, Praddo says it was all worth it. At 50 years old, he’s endured more than 60 extreme procedures and estimates that around 85% of his body is tattooed, including his eyeballs.

Some of his most intense alterations include:
- Surgically removing his nose tip
- Splitting his tongue in half
- Removing both nipples (and reportedly eating one)
- Implanting four horns on each side of his head
- Adding silver tusks to his mouth (for about $900)
His wife, Carol Praddo, also known as ‘Mulher Demonia’ (‘Demon Woman’), has stood by him through every transformation. A body modification specialist herself, she has helped design much of his look.
“The idea is for me to become her masterpiece when it comes to tattooing,” Praddo said proudly.
In February 2023, the couple traveled to Milan for his record to be verified on the Italian TV show Lo Show Dei Record. The moment was deeply emotional for him.
“It was something very special and surreal. A dream come true to enter Guinness and also go to Europe,” he shared.
“At several moments, I was emotional, with tears in my eyes… an experience I will cherish forever.”
Yet despite already being one of the most altered individuals on Earth, Praddo has no intention of stopping.

“Actually I have a good resistance to pain,” he said.
“I suffer a lot more in the post-procedures than at the time… But if I have to feel pain to achieve what I want, for sure I will face it!”
But perhaps the biggest shock of all came not from another modification — but a rare glimpse into who he used to be. In a video shared online, Diabao revealed never-before-seen footage of his pre-modification self.
With no tattoos, no implants, and no signs of the dramatic features he’s now known for, the footage left fans stunned. The man who had once looked like any other Brazilian citizen is now a living, breathing work of art or nightmare, depending on who you ask.
Yet for Praddo, the transformation has always been deeply personal. And if the past is anything to go by, this is far from the end of his journey.
