It’s the kind of childhood badge of honour many wear with pride, a cast signed by friends after a playground fall, or the tale of a soccer game gone wrong that ended in a fracture.
But what about those who’ve made it to adulthood with no broken bones at all?
They exist, and they’re becoming the subject of an increasingly bizarre and fascinating theory that has taken the internet by storm.
At first glance, avoiding broken bones might seem like a result of careful living or pure luck.
After all, with so many chances for falls, bumps, and accidents in a lifetime, escaping with an intact skeleton feels rare.
But according to a viral video on TikTok, some believe there’s something far more unusual behind it, something that can’t be explained by science alone.

A creator on TikTok, Sara from the account @sarasweirdworld, recently shared a video diving deep into what she calls the spiritual and metaphysical reasons some people have never suffered a fracture.
Her clip has racked up millions of views and stirred debate in the comments, with many claiming they too are “unbreakable.”
Sara begins with the most mystical theory of the bunch: spiritual protection.
“Apparently, there is a spiritual reason why people have never broken a bone,” she says in the video.
“That’s because they are protected by spiritual protection. Almost untouchable in a weird sense. Protected by the higher powers.”
In this view, people who’ve never experienced a broken bone are under the watchful eye of divine forces, shielded from harm in ways most others are not.
Another explanation Sara offers is tied to karma.
“The theory is that these types of people possess good karma, which they’ve earned by doing actions and kind deeds,” she explains.
“This protects the individuals from coming to any harm.”

In essence, a lifetime of good deeds might translate into physical protection, not just spiritual peace.
But the final theory is perhaps the most thought provoking.
Sara suggests the reason may lie in the past, quite literally.
“It is said that those people in this life who have never broken a bone may have experienced significant trauma in a past life,” she shares.
“So the theory suggests that they are being spared from having similar experiences in this life.”
This reincarnation based theory implies that those who suffered extensively in a previous existence are now enjoying a gentler, less painful lifetime.
The theories, while far from scientific, have captivated millions.
They tap into deeper human questions about fate, purpose, and whether our physical experiences are tied to something greater than ourselves.

But of course, not everyone is convinced.
Medical professionals have weighed in, noting that genetics, lifestyle, and bone density are much more likely reasons why someone might avoid injury.
Orthopedic specialists say that people with higher bone mass or those who live less risky lifestyles naturally have lower chances of breaking bones.
Still, for those enchanted by the spiritual side of things, the idea that unseen forces or karmic energy might be at play is too intriguing to ignore.
And whether you’re a believer or a skeptic, one thing is clear, being part of the “never broken a bone” club suddenly feels a lot more mysterious.
