Karoline Leavitt has made headlines for more than just her record-breaking role in the White House.
At just 27, she became the youngest press secretary in U.S. history, a key figure in Donald Trump’s second administration. Known for her sharp delivery and bold defense of her boss, Leavitt’s rapid rise in politics has made her one of the most talked-about names in Washington.
Yet her professional spotlight has unexpectedly collided with public curiosity over her personal life.

After Trump heaped glowing praise on her during an August 1 Newsmax interview, calling her “amazing” and suggesting she might be the best press secretary ever, attention quickly turned to the woman behind the podium.
Trump’s viral comments came after Leavitt publicly declared he deserved a Nobel Peace Prize. He responded warmly, saying,
“She’s a great person, actually. I don’t think anybody has ever had a better press secretary than Karoline.”
But while her political credentials were already under the microscope, few expected the intense interest that followed her recent interview on The Megyn Kelly Show.
There, Leavitt pulled back the curtain on a part of her life she rarely discusses: her marriage.

The press secretary revealed that she is married to Nicholas Riccio, a millionaire real estate developer 32 years her senior. The couple first met during her 2022 congressional run in New Hampshire, at a restaurant event hosted by a mutual friend.
“We were acquainted as friends, and then we fell in love,”
Leavitt explained.
She admitted there were moments of hesitation due to the age difference but emphasized how strong their connection grew. Riccio, she said, has supported her every step of the way.
“He is my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend and he’s my rock,” she said.
“He’s the father of my child and the best dad I could ever ask for.”
The pair got engaged over Christmas 2023 and welcomed their son, Nicholas Robert “Niko” Riccio, in July 2024.

Just days after giving birth, Leavitt returned to her role during one of the most turbulent moments in Trump’s campaign — the July 13 assass!nat!on attempt.
“I looked at my husband and said, ‘Looks like I’m going back to work,’” she shared with The Conservateur.
Now, as she navigates the pressures of her high-profile position, Leavitt continues to defy expectations — both as a political trailblazer and in her personal choices.
While some may still question her unconventional love story, Leavitt remains unbothered. As she puts it,
“It’s a very atypical love story, but he’s incredible… and fully on board.”
And with Trump’s vocal backing and a young family by her side, Karoline Leavitt is proving she’s more than ready for whatever headlines come next.
