Viral content creator Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was detained during a police operation that targeted a villa believed to be used for filming adult material.
Authorities confirmed that Billinger was taken into custody alongside multiple foreign men after officers seized cameras, storage devices and a promotional vehicle linked to her brand. Police say the investigation began after they received reports of inappropriate activity involving tourists.
Before the arrest, Billinger had been traveling while continuing to promote her content online. She previously addressed her followers ahead of a planned Schoolies-related event, telling them, โHey boys, those that are going to Schoolies and to those who are barely legal, cannot wait to meet you.โ

Her outspoken persona has played a significant role in her rise to fame. Billinger first gained widespread attention after claiming to have slept with more than one thousand men in 12 hours, a stunt that pushed her deeper into the public spotlight.
As the situation developed, officials revealed that the Bali raid was prompted by allegations that pornographic content was being produced in violation of Indonesiaโs strict morality laws. Items seized from the scene included contraceptives, filming equipment and the van she used to promote her adult content tours.
Billinger has continually rejected claims that her behaviour is predatory. Defending her interactions with participants, she said, โThey have chosen to contact me, given consent and allowed me to film. There is lots of talking and I ask them what they enjoy.โ She added, โPeople may not agree with the content I make but that does not make me a predator.โ
Following questioning by police, Billinger was handed over to the immigration office for further examination. Her passport was confiscated as part of the ongoing inquiry, limiting her ability to leave the country until authorities decide how to proceed.
In her first public appearance since the arrest, Billinger arrived at the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office wearing a matching green outfit, smiling and waving to reporters. When asked whether she planned to continue making adult content, she offered a direct and defiant response: โSubscribe and you will find out.โ

Immigration officials confirmed that additional reviews are underway. Winarko, head of the local immigration office, stated that she is still being investigated and that officers are โfollowing up on several things that were found by police.โ
Police also clarified details of the raid, explaining that Billinger and the men were in the middle of filming a game concept when officers entered.
Acting police spokesperson Aiptu Ni Nyoman Ayu Inastuti said, โNo p*rnographic activities or acts have been found in the collaborative content.โ

Despite that clarification, Billingerโs legal risk remains significant. Under Indonesian law, producing or participating in explicit content can carry penalties of up to 15 years in prison and fines that reach more than 6 billion rupiah.
Whether charges will be formally filed is expected to become clearer in the coming weeks.
For now, the viral internet star remains in Bali as authorities assess the case. What began as another headline-driven moment has shifted into a serious legal battle, and the outcome may determine the future of one of the internetโs most controversial creators.
