Identical twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque have once again sparked global fascination after speaking out about the relationship that has captivated audiences for years. The Perth born sisters, known for their perfectly mirrored lives, have been dating the same man, electrician Ben Byrne, since 2011.
The pair, often called the worldโs most identical twins, became international sensations through TLCโs series Extreme Sisters. Viewers watched how committed they are to maintaining identical routines, identical appearances and an identical future with the same partner.
Anna and Lucyโs relationship with Ben began more than a decade ago and quickly became a defining part of their public identity. The twins explained that Ben has always understood their need for absolute equality.

โHe always treated us equally. He never separates us and he doesnโt want to take us out separately,โ they said.
Their bond extends far beyond the romantic dynamic. The sisters coordinate everything from meals to daily activities to major life decisions. They eat the same food in matching portions, take bathroom breaks together and admit they have never willingly spent a moment apart.
Their commitment to looking alike has also been extreme. Over the years, they have spent nearly $250,000 on cosmetic procedures to maintain perfectly matched features before later reversing some of them. โWe feel like we are one person. We can never be apart,โ they have said.

The trio took their relationship to the next level when Ben proposed to both sisters during a park picnic. Each twin received a matching ring with three bands, symbolizing the three of them. Although legally unable to marry him in Australia, where polygamy is prohibited, they remain publicly engaged.
But as their lives gained more visibility online, one question repeatedly followed them. Fans, critics and television audiences all wanted to know how their personal life with Ben actually works. The twins finally addressed the topic during a televised interview in Australia.
They revealed that all three share an oversized king bed and confirmed that they are both present when one sister is intimate with Ben. โYes,โ they responded when asked directly, adding that they take turns but remain together.
Lucy explained, โThere is no jealousy in the relationship. If Ben kisses Anna, he will kiss me too.โ
Despite regular criticism and judgment online, the sisters insist their arrangement works for them. They say they focus on their love rather than public opinion. โPeople need to accept it. We are not hurting anyone. Love is love,โ they said.

Their relationship faces legal barriers that prevent them from formalizing their union with Ben in Australia.
Still, they have expressed interest in marrying overseas if they find a country that will recognize their partnership. โIf we can change the law, we would love to marry Ben,โ Anna said.
For now, the three continue living together in Perth, sharing their synchronized routines and answering the one question that has followed them for years.
Their response is as unconventional as their life together, and they remain confident that the relationship they have built works exactly the way they want it to.
