As a member of One Direction, Payne reached the pinnacle of worldwide recognition.

His debut album โLP1โ was released in December 2019 and achieved a remarkable No. 17 position in the U.K. charts. Earlier this year, he released his latest single โTeardrops,โ along with an acoustic version.
Payne candidly shared his battles with alcohol and feelings of despair, revealing that he had achieved over three months of sobriety just last year.
โIโve been sober for more than 100 days now,โ he shared with IFL TV. โI feel incredible, I feel truly fantastic and the backing from the supporters has been outstanding, so Iโm extremely pleased.โ
