Danielle Peazer, Liam Payne’s former girlfriend, has given an impassioned tribute following the singer’s terrible death.
Despite the fact that their relationship ended more than a decade ago, Peazer and Payne maintained a special bond over the years.
In a touching Instagram post, Peazer thought about their friendship and revealed a highly personal detail about their final contact.
Payne, who was previously a member of the global smash One Direction, contacted her just weeks before his tragic demise.
Peazer, now a mother and partner of radio presenter Sonny Jay, remembered the final message Payne sent her.
“Receiving a message from you a couple of weeks ago expressing your happiness for the love I found with Sonny and Mia is something I’ll cherish forever,” she said. Peazer’s daughter, Mia, was born earlier this year in May.
Their romance, which started in 2010 when Payne competed on “The X Factor,” had its ups and downs.
They dated on and off for two years until finally splitting in 2013. However, Peazer revealed that their story lasted long after the breakup.
“At times, you were my favorite person in the whole world, but you could also wind me up so much, and I probably annoyed the hell out of you sometimes too,” Peazer said with regret.
She also stated that, despite their differences, they always supported each other throughout difficult times.
Peazer’s speech also recognized Payne’s most important function as a father. She expressed her sympathy for Payne’s kid, Bear, who he has with singer Cheryl Cole.
“The thought that there is now a child growing up without one of their parents is heartbreaking and unfair,” she wrote, expressing her sympathy to Bear and the rest of Payne’s family.
In a particularly moving section of her piece, Peazer described how their bond survived despite the years apart.
“Our relationship may have ended back in 2013, but that seemed to be just the start of our story,” she wrote, highlighting that they constantly knew they would have a kind of bond forever.
Peazer also expressed tremendous sadness for Payne’s troubles throughout his life. “I’m sorry your story didn’t end differently,” she wrote. She continued, “I’m sorry you didn’t ever get to share more of your magic with the world.”
While Payne’s life was frequently scrutinized, Peazer’s memorial provided insight into their private relationship and the great moments they shared.
She thanked Payne for teaching her valuable lessons about creating boundaries and safeguarding her heart.
However, the tragic news that shocked the world was delivered in the final section of Peazer’s post.
Liam Payne was discovered dead on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The 31-year-old’s death was confirmed by an autopsy, which revealed various traumas and internal damage. Peazer’s memorial to her former love is a touching reminder of their friendship and the tragic loss felt by all who knew him.
