Katy Perry is no stranger to lively banter, but a specific moment of frankness with comedian James Corden during her “Witness World Wide” livestream caught viewers’ interest.
The “Firework” singer, known for her vibrant behavior and refreshing honesty, captivated audiences with surprise revelations about some high-profile relationships in her past.
The session began with Corden inviting Perry to play a game called “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.”
The game was designed to put even the toughest stomachs to the test, forcing Perry to choose between answering difficult questions and indulging in “delicacies” such as bird saliva, cow’s tongue, and a thousand-year-old pickled egg.
Corden, never one to hold back, urged Perry to assess her exes based on how they performed in the bedroom, offering her the unappealing option of eating the ancient egg if she refused.
Perry first refused, laughing and fighting against answering what she described as a “impossible” question.
“They’re all amazing lovers,” she laughed, amusingly adding, “I would have s3x with all of them after I get out of this place!” She screamed, apparently conflicted between throwing out details and avoiding the nasty food.
Perry made amusing remarks throughout the uncomfortable yet humorous encounter, attempting to avoid the subject.
Corden tried to help by rating her exes, beginning with DJ Diplo in third place, and she offered a slight nod of agreement.
However, the debate took an unexpected turn when Perry, still dodging the issue, made a passing mention of her longtime friend, musician Josh Groban, as a “top three” option, sparked even more interest.
Attempting to distract, Perry stated that Groban was not on the list but did mention that he inspired her hit song “The One That Got Away.”
She went on, “He’s one of my good friends.”
Corden, however, remained undeterred, asking Perry to identify who truly placed among Diplo, actor Orlando Bloom, and singer-songwriter John Mayer.
After much laughter and taunting, Perry finally admitted: “Okay, Diplo third, Bloom second, and Mayer first.”
Perry and Bloom, who are now blissfully engaged and parents to a kid, have enjoyed many happy memories together, but she humorously acknowledged Mayer’s top rank.
“Gentlemen, I love you,” she clarified, easing the blow, “and you know I love youโit’s just that maybe I haven’t had enough time to have sx with you,” referring to Bloom with a wink.
Mayer’s response to the ranking was polite. Perry’s lighthearted confession, “I don’t have a cool-enough thought for you,” stimulated discussion among admirers.
It’s given another memorable twist to her illustrious dating life, with fans speculating on the rankings of her famous ex-partners.
