In a world obsessed with aesthetic perfection, the pursuit of beauty often draws on ancient wisdom as much as modern science.
And when it comes to identifying the โperfectโ face, one name has recently risen to the top of the conversation.
The idea of perfection in facial features has long fascinated philosophers, artists, and now, scientists.

Among the tools used to measure this elusive quality is the Greek concept of the Golden Ratio a mathematical formula used since antiquity to define symmetry and balance.
Known as Phi and represented by the number 1.618, this ratio has been observed in nature, architecture, and even da Vinciโs artwork.
But thanks to 21st-century technology, researchers are now applying it to human faces with incredible precision.

One such researcher is Dr. Julian De Silva, a Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon from London, whoโs made headlines by using computer mapping and facial-scanning techniques to rank celebrity faces based on their alignment with the Golden Ratio.
The results have stunned fans and skeptics alike.
According to Dr. De Silva, the Golden Ratio can be used to analyze features such as the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jawline, and face shape.
By measuring the distances and proportions between each part, a beauty score is calculatedโbringing scientific backing to the age-old question: โWho is the most beautiful of them all?โ

Over the years, several famous faces have topped the list.
Bella Hadid once held the crown with a score of 94.35%, followed closely by Beyoncรฉ at 92.44% and Amber Heard, who was noted for her nearly symmetrical features.
But now, years after her name trended globally for legal battles, Amber Heard has unexpectedly re-entered the spotlightโthis time for a much different reason.
Dr. De Silva recently updated his findings, revealing that Amber Heardโs face aligns 91.85% with the Golden Ratio, earning her the title of โmost beautiful face in the world,โ according to science.

Heard, 38, best known for her role as Mera in Aquaman, has long been praised for her striking looks, but now thereโs mathematical evidence to back up the claims.
Her nose, in particular, scored exceptionally high in the facial symmetry model used by De Silva.
โShe has the most stunning nose and features, which were objectively the closest to perfection,โ Dr. De Silva said in an interview with Us Weekly.

He also created a โperfect faceโ composite using elements from various celebrities: Heardโs nose, Kim Kardashianโs eyebrows, Scarlett Johanssonโs eyes, Emily Ratajkowskiโs lips, Rihannaโs face shape, and Kate Mossโ forehead.
Other top scorers included Kardashian with 91.39%, Moss with 91.06%, Ratajkowski at 90.8%, and Kendall Jenner with 90.18%.
Despite the data, De Silva acknowledged that beauty remains subjective: โThe Phi ratio offers one perspective, but beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.โ

Amber herself shared a thoughtful take on the topic with Harperโs Bazaar: โYour beauty isnโt in how other people see youโฆ Find real beauty in that which you earn, which is harder to come by.โ
So while the science may back her up, for Heard, itโs not about perfectionโitโs about authenticity.
And as the world now re-evaluates her beyond the courtroom spotlight, this recognition marks a different kind of headlineโone measured not in controversy, but in golden proportions.
