In the new viral clip, Spears can be seen sitting casually inside her $11.8 million Calabasas mansion, wearing heavy black eyeliner and donning messy blonde hair extensions.
What grabbed viewers immediately wasn’t just her disheveled appearance, but the way she spoke adopting a strange British accent and focusing intently on her fingernails.
“Like really little. So little it’s weird but I have a little bitty pinky nail,” Britney excitedly declared to her 156.4 million followers. “I haven’t had nails since I was in, like, the seventh grade. I’m, like, like, freaking out. They’re really, really tiny but still.”
While the topic itself seemed lighthearted, the overall vibe of the video struck many as odd and concerning.
“Britney Spears video about her nails is actually frightening,” tweeted one user, @somebodyslucy. Another, @KierraaaMist, added, “[I don’t care] that ain’t Britney Spears. Her teeth ain’t never looked like that. It’s like she got someone else’s mouth.”

Universal is said to have paid “in the low eight figures” for the rights to the memoir and her music catalog. The project will be produced by Marc Platt, with Spears reportedly playing a very hands-on role in its creation.
The memoir itself earned Spears a $12.5 million advance from Simon & Schuster and involved ghostwriters Ada Calhoun, Sam Lansky, and Luke Dempsey.
Beyond her professional life, Spears recently made her final $20,000 child support payment to ex-husband Kevin Federline for their son Jayden James.
