A heart-pounding stunt above the shimmering Dubai skyline has pushed the limits of daredevil climbing.

A British YouTuber and free climber known as โ€œNuisanceโ€ took on a harrowing ascent up a crane perched 1,280 feet above ground.

Adam Lockwood, hailing from Manchester, UK, captured the entire experience on video, later posting it to his channel.

Lockwoodโ€™s audacious escapades have earned him a dedicated following among thrill-seekers and adrenaline enthusiasts.

In his most recent stunt, Lockwood disguised himself as a construction worker to infiltrate the construction site of Dubaiโ€™s Il Primo skyscraper.

The residential tower offered him a breathtaking and risky vantage point over the cityscape.

To reach his target, he had to avoid detection by the real workers on site.

But navigating through the bustling construction zone wasnโ€™t the only hurdle he faced.

Attempting to climb 77 floors in the scorching 45-degree Celsius heat, Lockwood encountered a security challenge.

A worker noticed him mid-journey and confronted him, momentarily halting his ascent.

Thinking quickly, Lockwood used Google Translate to convince the worker he was part of the construction team and had merely forgotten something.

The ruse, though risky, worked, and Lockwood was able to proceed undetected.

Despite avoiding major setbacks, his climb required constant vigilance.

As he climbed, he alternated between stairwells eight times over two hours to evade other workers.

โ€œI didnโ€™t want to walk up 77 floors in the 45-degree heat. I didnโ€™t think anyone would be in the elevator,โ€ he admitted.

After reaching the top, he realized he faced yet another challenge: his GoPro battery was nearly depleted.

With only a few minutes of recording time, he quickly captured what he could before pressing forward.

Finally at the craneโ€™s structure, Lockwood prepared for the last stretch of his dangerous journey.

But what he encountered during this final climb would turn his daring feat into a near disaster.

Initially, he believed the craneโ€™s surface was simply covered in desert dust.

Yet, as he began climbing, he was horrified to discover his hands and feet slipping uncontrollably.

Only then did he realize that the craneโ€™s bars were coated in a slick layer of grease.

Lockwoodโ€™s footage shows moments that leave viewers on edge as he dangles 1,280 feet above ground.

With only his grip to keep him secure, he pressed on, experiencing four close calls that nearly led to fatal falls.

โ€œAt first, I thought it was dust from the desert, but checking my hands, it was grease,โ€ he later explained.

The footage reveals tense scenes, including one where he hangs by one hand, legs looped over a bar.

Yet, remarkably, Lockwood describes his mental state as serene during these stunts.

โ€œHanging off things doesnโ€™t feel like muchโ€ฆmy brain is blank, my heartbeat doesnโ€™t go up, and it feels almost peaceful,โ€ he shared.

After safely returning to the ground, Lockwood reflected on his breathtaking accomplishment.

โ€œWhen I first looked at the footage, I was thinking to myself, โ€˜This is it, this is the most incredible thing Iโ€™ve done.โ€™โ€

Though the experience left viewers breathless, Lockwood made it clear he has no plans to attempt such a climb again.

โ€œWow, Iโ€™m not doing that again. On my life, Iโ€™m not doing that again,โ€ he said to conclude his video.

Despite the risk, Lockwood admitted he remains drawn to high places and the thrill of climbing.

โ€œI love seeing things from a height,” he shared. โ€œItโ€™s something that has kept me alive since I started, and I donโ€™t think I can give it up.โ€
