Jocelyne Wildenstein, often known as “Catwoman” because of her unique appearance, continues to captivate the public.
The 84-year-old Swiss socialite was recently spotted enjoying a romantic night out in Paris with her 57-year-old fiancé, Lloyd Klein.
The couple, who have been together for almost two decades, attracted attention as they strolled through the streets of the City of Love. Both dressed in elegant black clothes, they radiated glamor on their night out.
Wildenstein wore a sheer black blouse with elegant leather trousers, and Klein completed her appearance with a fitting jacket, black jeans, and his distinctive large sunglasses.
Their first stop was the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, noted for its breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower, where they drank cocktails before proceeding to the Michelin-starred Laurent for dinner.
The couple’s relationship, which began in 2003, has been far from average. It has faced its fair share of public scrutiny and private turmoil. A highly publicized altercation in 2016 resulted in their brief split.
Klein later revealed his sadness at the breakup, telling “People” magazine that he was “devastated” by the way things turned out.
However, love won out, and they reconnected in 2017, when Klein proposed to Wildenstein with a stunning 32-carat diamond ring on an extravagant trip to the Versace Mansion in Miami.
Klein reflected on the proposal, saying, “It was romantic, dramatic, and wonderful. I showed Jocelyn the ring, and she said ‘yes!’ — she was in heaven.”
Since then, the couple has remained together, making headlines with their stunning looks.
Wildenstein has frequently been the focus of significant media curiosity due to her spectacular plastic surgery, which earned her the nickname “Catwoman.”
However, in an interview with the “Daily Mail,” she denied undergoing substantial cosmetic treatments, stating that her appearance has remained essentially unchanged over the years.
“Of course, I was more beautiful when I was younger, but you will see the same eyes, high cheeks, and the same nose,” she remarked, inviting critics to compare her old images.
Klein has also defended her, saying “nothing has changed about her face.”
Their relationship has remained strong, with the couple attending significant events such as Paris Fashion Week and discussing future plans together.
A highly anticipated HBO documentary is in the works, providing Wildenstein the opportunity to tell her side of the story.
Klein, a prominent fashion designer who began his career in Paris, stated that the documentary will reveal a different side of Wildenstein, refuting many myths about her.
“People don’t know her,” he added, adding that the documentary will give her the opportunity to “tell the story with her own voice.”
The night’s biggest surprise, however, was not their gorgeous look.
In addition to their ambitions for the documentary, Klein stated that they are also in talks about bringing Wildenstein’s life to the big screen, with actresses like Jennifer Lawrence and Rami Malek potentially playing the duo.
This would provide a more detailed look into Wildenstein’s life, from her scandalous divorce to her continued participation in elite social circles.
As the pair bid farewell to their Parisian evening, it was evident that their story, defined by love and resilience, continues to charm the world.
