John Cena established himself as a prominent figure in the world of wrestling and Hollywood through his popular charisma as well as athletic strength and nonstop determination.
From WWEโs โDoctor of Thuganomicsโ to blockbuster hits like Fast & Furious 9 and The Suicide Squad, Cenaโs presence has always been larger than life.
Using his celebrity status Cena now supports a mission that brings profound significance to his life through an unexpected pathway.

The wrestler recently joined Neutrogena to lead their โSunscreen You Canโt Seeโ awareness campaign which showcases their Ultra Sheer Mineral Face Liquid Sunscreen SPF 70.
Through its reference to his popular WWE phrase โYou Canโt See Meโ the campaign strategically combines fan nostalgia with meaningful content.
Dr. Neera Nathan helps Cena reinforce sun protection principles during their appearance in the promotional video for Neutrogena sunscreen.

According to People magazine Cena defined the project as meaningful to him even though it combined with another branded initiative.
โI grew up in a small town next to Newburyport and Salisbury Beach,โ he shared. โSome of my earliest memories of summer are of small carnivals and people walking the beachside.โ
He reflects that during his early years as well as throughout his years he made minimal to no attempts at sunscreen usage.

The focus on sunscreen use was not strong in old times according to his description. My mother had to manage a household with five boys while being alone after my father left her for another woman. Screen protection did not exist as a priority during that period.
The move to Florida during his twenties marked the start of his life spent under the strong Florida sun without proper protection.
โI was stubborn,โ Cena admitted. The routine didn’t appeal to me although I believed the problem would never affect me directly. But it did.

Professional doctors uncovered a malignant tumor inside his right pec after he finally decided to get himself checked.
The skin check became possible after he visited a dermatologist for his medical examination. โI had a c@ncerous spot removed from my right pec.โ
The diagnosis hit hard.
โI remember getting the call. The voice on the other end of the phone ordered him to return to the doctor. This type of phone call becomes the one call that you would prefer to have never received.

The second tumor located near his shoulder emerged one year following the first diagnosis causing medical experts to remove it.
The reality of his skin c@ncer diagnosis forced Cena to reconsider all aspects of his life because skin c@ncer is a frequent topic of praise for his strict discipline.
โI think the best way to hammer home a point is human-to-human connection,โ he said. Any human being can confirm that the call you never wish to receive exists in reality.
The Skin C@ncer Foundation reports that five percent of Americans face certain diagnosis of skin c@ncer at some point in their lifetime and the United States sees 9,500 daily new c@ncer cases.
The current message from Cena is straightforward about making sunscreen usage equivalent to maintaining dental hygiene.
His open dialog about skin c@ncer experiences has gained appreciation from supporters along with respect for his intestinal fortitude.
โI really admire John Cena for being brave enough to speak out about his experience,โ one fan wrote online.

Cena now uses his own experience to motivate others in protecting their skin while making his personal fight a mission which protects lives.
