Do you see what an impression you’re making on the young man?” Kimmel inquired of Combs, who was then 41 years old. “I hope you’re going to be a good role model to him… what’s going on with you guys?”
Combs said cryptically but innocently, “I think we’ve become friends in a strange way.” At the time, the exchange appeared to be harmless.
