Fry celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this January by sharing a black-and-white wedding photo on Instagram with this dedication: “Ten happy years passed today since our marriage ceremony.” I’m a lucky man.”

Fry’s recent interview shed light on the reason why himself and Spencer avoid public appearance most of the time.
Through his The Jonathan Ross Show interview appearance the actor disclosed specific aspects of his private life which explain why they hide from public view.
Fry emphasized why he and Spencer chose to avoid the glamorous Hollywood event scene. According to him they avoid attending Hollywood events.
Evenings for them consist of domestic leisure activities at their residence. “We have an early supper, watch Jeopardy!, go to bed,” Fry shared, drawing laughs from the audience.
Fry’s casual reference to watching Jeopardy! on television eventually led him to his latest TV work where he became the host of the British version of ITV1 and ITVX quiz show.
“It was all a terrible mistake… a lovely mistake,” he joked, recalling how he told his American agent about his nightly routine.
The agent telephoned after two weeks to deliver the news that ITV London achieved success through securing Fry for Jeopardy! hosting duties.
Fry and Spencer maintain a passionate emotional bond along with their comfortable television viewing schedule. During a 2015 rare interview Spencer stated that humor functions as the central key to all life matters. We laugh all the time.”
Spencer declared to the public eye Stephen represents the light and love of his entire life despite the age gap. His feelings for his life partner are above what others may think.
Since 2018 the pair has survived both personal challenges because Fry successfully fought aggressive prostate cancer and maintained their bond together.

“It’s not secrecy,” he explained. “We just treasure what we have too much to put it on display.”
