Kennedy Littledike iterrible vehicle accident

Nampa, Idaho – Tragedy hit Kennedy jean Littledike in a terrible vehicle accident, dangling her 30 feet in the air by her leg, which was trapped in power lines. On May 22, 2021, she had a turning point in her physical and emotional resilience.

Kennedy, who was 16 at the time, had recently gone through a traumatic breakup. Her friends suggested that she drive to a neighboring mountain to view the sunset for peace. However, during the return journey, Kennedy lost control of the vehicle due to emotional discomfort.

Kennedy and her pals, Nakia Molina and Jacob Rasmussen, were thrown out of the car as it went off the road, collided with a power post and violently flipped. Kennedy was flung into the air as the truck rolled over, hitting power lines.

“The impact was severe. My arm was torn off while being tossed, hanging on by the skin on my back, and then my femur was snapped over the wire and hanging in front of my face,” Kennedy told Inside Edition in an emotionally charged interview.

Fortunately, the method in which Kennedy’s leg was grasped could have saved her life. The power line constricts the main artery in her leg, preventing her from bleeding, while the electrocution cauterizes her arm.

For more than an hour, Kennedy hung perilously, battling for her life. “I was drowning in my blood because it was running from my leg, it was running from my arm, and it was going in my nose, and I was just wiping it out because it was literally drowning me,” she told me the next day.

Rescue personnel labored tirelessly to release her, and as Kennedy was finally lowered to the ground, she felt a mixture of relief and dread. She was taken to the University of Utah, where the full nature of her injuries became clear.

Kennedy had 21 surgeries, including five amputations, while doctors worked to save as much of her limb as possible. Her injuries were severe, with a shattered femur, humerus, clavicle, and a major brachial plexus injury.

Despite the physical trauma, Kennedy’s soul remained intact. She bravely faced her new predicament, even found comedy and hope in her recovery. “After 20 minutes, I was alright with it. I literally named my nub Gobi, and I did a whole dance for it,” she revealed, reflecting on her hospital experience.

Today, Kennedy uses her tragic experience to motivate others. With a huge social media following and previous experience as a public speaker, she encourages resilience and safety, emphasizing the importance of seat belts and emotional well-being when driving.

In a powerful conclusion to her journey, Kennedy writes, “I would go through it all again just to have that rewarding feeling and to feel like I made a difference in someone’s life.” Her journey began with a terrible trauma and has since expanded into a lifelong mission to educate, inspire, and give back.
