During a rainfall stoppage a Centennial High School student occupied a spot designated for another team under their tent according to witness statements.

The school records show Metcalf asked the student to shift positions but the student refused to listen.

The situation escalated rapidly when the Centennial High student warned his opponent that touching him would result in severe consequences.

The disagreement gradually worsened after which Austin tried to lead the student out of the tent using physical contact.

The student according to police brought out a knife from his bag after unzipping it then stabbed Austin through the chest once.

The tragic turn ended with Hunter seeing Austin getting stabbed as he tried to slow down the bleeding from his chest.

Hunters reported speeding up as quickly as he could after the incident occurred according to his interview with WFAA. My eyes rested on my twin as he lay before me and I choose to stop describing the following events. I tried to help him.โ€

Jeff Metcalf rushed to the location where he discovered his son unconscious while blood Pooling across his body.

Jeff reached the hospital immediately after the stabbing incident while he prayed constantly throughout the journey according to his statement to reporters. Medical personnel failed to preserve his life. This is murd*r.โ€

The stadium was immediately closed after the incident while all students were ordered to return to their individual schools.

Police and the public remained in shock when the person accused admitted his involvement during his arrest proceedings.

While under arrest at the police station Karmelo Anthony informed authorities that he had not merely committed the act but had actually done it. I did it.โ€
