Alabama Barker has sparked a major online debate after giving fans a detailed look at her Christmas and birthday gifts, with some people more focused on the jaw dropping price tag than the festive cheer.
The 20 year old daughter of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker celebrated her birthday on Christmas Eve before sharing a nearly nine minute TikTok showing everything she received.
Throughout the video, Alabama repeatedly told followers she felt “beyond blessed, grateful and thankful” as she unboxed designer shoes, luxury handbags, diamond jewellery and high end tech.
But it did not take long for viewers to start doing the maths.
One of the standout gifts was a pink Hermès Birkin bag, widely believed to be worth more than $20,000 on its own. And that was just the beginning. Alabama also revealed she received a $32,000 Leve bracelet, along with an iPad and a pink MacBook.
The footwear section alone had fans raising their eyebrows. Among the shoes she showed were Hermès Oran sandals retailing at $1,250, Ugg Scuffette Caspian slippers priced at $115, ERL Venice Beach shearling slippers costing $620, René Caovilla chandelier black heels worth $2,190 and another pair of René Caovilla heels from a designer outlet priced at $1,890.
Those five pairs alone total $6,065 and that was only part of the collection.
TikToker Destinee Moreh later broke down the haul in her own video, estimating the total value at $81,350, not including the Birkin bag, Chrome Hearts pieces, vintage Chanel items and lingerie. Others in the comments claimed the final number could be far higher, with some suggesting it may be closer to $200,000.
However, while the luxury price tag shocked many viewers, it was one particular category of gifts that really set social media alight.
During the walkthrough, Alabama revealed that her dad had bought her lingerie from high end brand Agent Provocateur.
“So my dad went a little crazy at Agent Provocateur,” she said in the clip, explaining that her stepmom Kourtney Kardashian helped pick out most of the pieces and that store staff recommended items they thought she would like.
She showed several sets, including bras, underwear, a corset she described as having “show girl vibes” and a cheetah print slip for sleeping. Alabama appeared genuinely excited about the pieces, calling them “so beautiful” and “gorgeous.”
While some fans defended the family and argued that Alabama is an adult who can receive whatever gifts she wants, others labelled the gesture “gross” and inappropriate, questioning whether lingerie is a suitable present from a parent.
Despite the criticism, Alabama made it clear she felt nothing but gratitude for her gifts and the effort put into celebrating her birthday and Christmas.
Love it or hate it, one thing is certain. Alabama Barker’s Christmas certainly did not go unnoticed.
